The River City Rascals were a professional baseball team based in O'Fallon, Missouri. They were members of the Frontier League, an independent baseball league not affiliated with Major League Baseball. The team was founded in 1999 and played their home games at CarShield Field.
The River City Rascals had a successful history in the Frontier League, winning three league championships in 2010, 2012, and 2019. The team also made multiple playoff appearances and had several players go on to play in affiliated minor league or major league baseball.
However, in December 2019, the River City Rascals announced that they would be ceasing operations after 21 seasons due to financial difficulties and declining attendance. Their final season was played in 2019, and the team disbanded following their championship victory that year.
